2024 Alaska Christian Cruise

May 11-18, 2024 David & Kathy Slamp are hosting another Alaska Christian Cruise/Retreat.

It will be on the beautiful Holland America Eurodam.

The Slamps will be leading inspirational services and the Dubbeld Family will be joining and leading in Worship & Music!  It is going to be awesome.

Goshen Farm Orphanage

During the first week of March 2022, this infant was found in a gutter in Harare, Zimbabwe.  She is now part of the Goshen Farm Orphanage and will be the first infant in the new house.  See story below.  We will be guests for the dedication of the new house over Easter 2022.  If you want to donate for the orphanage, and specifically, this baby, we are able to carry your donations directly to the orphanage.

When David and I visited Africa in 2013 to teach at Nazarene Theological College near Johannesburg, we had no idea what God had in store for us. We were invited back for a different task. Between 2014 and 2016 we made several more trips from the States to Africa, and many trips within Africa. During these years David trained over 5,200 pastors and lay leaders in 16 African countries in discipleship and small group dynamics. I spoke to women in those same countries.

During our visits to Africa we were very touched by the ministry of Goshen Farm Orphanage near Harare, Zimbabwe.  Click here to see and read more about it.

After visiting the farm three times, in 2019 we led a group of 22 people from the US to Zimbabwe to help construct a much-needed house for small children & infants.  There were also three houses with grass roofs on the property, but a permanent house was needed.  The house is now completed and furnished.  We will be returning to Zimbabwe April 2022 for Easter and the dedication of the new house and a school that we built jointly with the people of Harare Highfield Nazarene.

My summer cruises for major cruise lines began in the early 2000s.  Since then I've served as Naturalist on over 160 Cruises and three different cruise lines:  Princess, Celebrity, and Viking.  At the present time, I don't work in Alaska all summer like I did in the past, but I'm still on the cruise ships from time to time as their Naturalist and Alaska Specialist.  Check my schedule for these dates.
