Your name was given to me as a possible speaker for women's ministries. My husband, Allen, and I attend Mt View Naz in Olympia, WA. I was mentioning your name to my him and he immediately remembered attending NNC with you and your husband. He was Hugh Frieburg's roommate, before he transferred to the Univ of WA.. Small world. We just attended Hugh's retirement from the mission field last month.
We have signed up for our 1st cruise on the Sapphire Princess July 4th! Will you be holding worship services or inspirational gatherings on the cruise? We'd love to met you.

I am not sure what "featured" means, but thanks for your kind comments. The weekend was amazing, both for me, and for the new Believers I drug along with me! We had a fabulous time and talked lots about your services. Sunday morning was especially meaningful for me--the content and the personal story you shared. Being a former 8th grade teacher and a pastor, I really appreciate good preaching and teaching!!! I will try to get my co-pastor to discuss the possibility of utilizing some of your workshops on our district, but co-pastoring is kind of like being unequally yoked :0) I am the "junior" co-pastor, so I have lots of opinions, but not lots of authority, if you get my meaning. Glad to see you are so busy. Whoever termed that phrase "Retired" didn't know what he was talking about. I am so busy, I don't know how I ever had time to go to work. However, I can pick & choose my "busyness". Nice to see you & Dave are still doing great things for the Lord. I too hope to get to see you two sometime.

When I send the next prayer and praise report, I'll add your husband to it. Alaska is wonderful, and the cruise ship is a great way to go. My trips are posted on both of my sites, as well as a specific trip July 4-11 that my husband is hosting on a ship where I'm speaking. Maybe you can be a part of that>

It was a privilege to hear you speak at Our Redeemer in Peoria and I am enjoying your books. My husband and I would love to be on one of those cruises to Alaska. We have talked about driving up in our little RV, but some of what we want to see would not be accessible by road, so we will have to decide how to go about this trip.
We are under a winter weather advisory here for the next two days, so with that in mind, I wish you safe travels and I pray that God would bless you, your family, and your ministry.

My husband Glenn recently had cancer surgery to remove his bladder. Since then he has had several complications (blood clot, cellulitis, shingles) that have made his recovery slow and caused him discouragement. Would you please pray for him? Thank you.

I am enjoying reading the book WALKING THROUGH LIFE WITHOUT STUMBLING OVER YOUR SELF. Trust that I will be successful. We are experiencing a January thaw. It was about 65 degrees today. Last week it was in the teens a couple nights.

During these years we visited Ethiopia, Rwanda Madagascar, Namibia, S Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Swaziland, Cote d' Avoire, Ghana, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, the Congo, Lesota, Liberia, and Mozambique. This has been a blessing beyond measure. Africa has changed our lives, and we will never be the same.
SO...in addition to retreat and special event speaking, I am also speaking for mission services & Faith Promise Conventions.
