Event Description
Continuing my experiences in Alaska for the past 12 seasons, I will join the Golden Princess in LA on May 9, 2013. We will make a quick trip to Seattle, and from there we will sail weekly all summer.
This is a change from the past three seasons when I've sailed out of Vancouver, going one week north and then one week south.
Several years ago I did this cruise when I sailed on the Star Princess. We visit Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. AND, on this cruise we visit the magnificent Tracy Arm.
Over 100 years ago John Muir went to Alaska to study the "Last of the Ice Ages" and prove his theory that Yosemite Park was glacially scupted. Tracy Arm, according to John Muir, was most like Yosemite of anything in the entirety of Alaska that he visited. It is truly an amazing place. Three years ago, we returned from five amazing years in Africa. During these years we visited Ethiopia, Rwanda Madagascar, Namibia, S Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Swaziland, Cote d' Avoire, Ghana, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, the Congo, Lesota, Liberia, and Mozambique. This has been a blessing beyond measure. Africa has changed our lives, and we will never be the same.
SO...in addition to retreat and special event speaking, I am also speaking for mission services & Faith Promise Conventions.
