Event Description
On Oct. 21, 2012, my husband "officially" retired from the full time miinistry, but NOT REALLY! For years, we have dreamed of the possibility of donating some of our skills during retirement. Our first volunteer assignment will begin Jan. 10 when we fly from Portland, OR to Johannesburg, S. Africa to teach one semester at the Nazarene College there.
I will be leaving early(April 17) in order to begin my 2013 Alaska season, and David will be staying until the end of May. We will be living on the campus in temporary housing, and emerging ourselves as much as possible into a different culture.
If time and funds allow, we hope to visit Capetown as well as take a safari while we are there.
This is a volunteer assignment and we both appreciate your prayers; prayers for traveling safety, our health, and effectiveness in our work there.

Africa Volunteer Mission: Jan. 2013 -April 2022
At the present time, I am booking engagements for Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 I'd love to add your event to this itinerary. Please contact me and we will work together.
Three years ago, we returned from five amazing years in Africa. During these years we visited Ethiopia, Rwanda Madagascar, Namibia, S Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Swaziland, Cote d' Avoire, Ghana, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, the Congo, Lesota, Liberia, and Mozambique. This has been a blessing beyond measure. Africa has changed our lives, and we will never be the same.
SO...in addition to retreat and special event speaking, I am also speaking for mission services & Faith Promise Conventions.
