May 15 - Sept 16:  Naturalist on the Golden Princess in Alaska.  During this time I did four presentations in the main theatre each week as well as MANY comments about wildlife, glaciers, and such from the bridge and the open deck.

Jan. 12 - April 15, 2012: Teaching near Johannesburg, South Africa at the Nazarene Theological College.

April 14, 2013:  Evening Youth Service Speaker at the Agape Church, Rustenberg, S. Africa.  (There were over 200 in attendance; average age 25)!

March 22, 2012 - March 24, 2012:  Northwest Ministry Conference held at Overlake Christian Church. This amazing conference is held each spring in the Seattle area.  Thousands attend!  Once again I will be presenting a Thursday pre-session for Church Office workers, and then I will be presenting two additional workshops on Friday and Sat.  This is the largest Christian ministry conference in the US with over 3,000 in attendance.

 

March 6, 2012: Chandler Church of the Nazarene, host The Church Office:  Madness or Ministry? This full day, non-denominational seminar is provided by Vessel Ministries. 

February 3, 2012:  Vancouver First United Methodist Church is hosting a luncheon for seniors that will feature Kathy Slamp, Alaska naturalist.  At the luncheon Kathy will present one of her shipboard multi-media presentation.  Organized by Wayne L'Amoreax.

Jan 27 - 29, 2012:  7th Day Church of God Women's Retreat held at the Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center, Cannon Beach, OR.  Organized by Priscilla Hawkins.

Sept. 30 - Oct. 2, 2011:  Women's Regional Conference sponsored by Weaverville Ch. of the Nazarene, Weaverville, CA.  Event takes place at Gaia Resort in Anderson,  CA. Organized by Glenna Jones   (530) 623-2855     

May 19, 2011 - Sept. 26, 2011: Alaskan Naturalist on the Island Princess. This consists of 18 back-to-back cruises. The first and last cruises begin and end in San Francisco; all the rest sail north a week from Vancouver, BC to Whittier (Anchorage), AK, and then reverse the trip south for a week. Ports-of-call for each trip: Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. This is the northbound sequence, and southbound is just the reverse. On both itineraries we visit Glacier Bay; going north we visit College Fjord, and going south we visit Hubbard Glacier. March 8-18, 2011: Holy Land and Petra Tour. April 7-9, 2011:  Participated as a full day pre-session seminar presenter, workshop leader, and hosted a booth at the Northwest Ministry Conference hosted at Overlake Christian Church, Seattle, WA.  This is the sixth year I've been a part of this event which includes people from over 400 churches and many states.
