Cape Town townships & Robben Island
These photos are from Robben Island which is right off the coast of Cape Town. It is very similar to the location of Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay. This is where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years of 27 years in prison. In addition to the Robben Island pictures, I've added some pictures of Cape Town "township" and a church in one of these where David spoke. The townships begin as informal settlements, and this particular one has 1,000,000 people living in tin shacks.

Beyond measure, this was blessed. Africa changed our lives, and we will never be the same.
