Mt Roberts cross with Lynn Epp 2010
At the top of Juneau's Mt. Roberts is this beautiful cross overlooking the Gastineau Channel. Lynn and I climbed to the top different directions, and met "at the cross." Didn't mean it to work out that way, but it is certainly symbolic.
The cross is in honor of Father Brown, and early Juneau priest who did a lot for the area.

Three years ago, we returned from five amazing years in Africa. During these years we visited Ethiopia, Rwanda Madagascar, Namibia, S Africa, Malawi, Uganda, Swaziland, Cote d' Avoire, Ghana, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, the Congo, Lesota, Liberia, and Mozambique. This has been a blessing beyond measure. Africa has changed our lives, and we will never be the same.
